This exquisite property boasts a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooking facilities, a sunken lounge that offers awe-inspiring vistas of the bay, and an outdoor deck with seating and a gas BBQ that is simply perfect for relishing the remarkable scenery. Rinse off the sand from a day at the beach with the outdoor beach shower. During the winter months, you can snuggle up to the wood-burning fireplace.

The Abalone Beach House is conveniently located just steps away from one of Australia's best beaches, offering easy access to Bridgewater Bay Cafe, Seals by Sea Tour, Blow Holes, and the Great South West Walk. *Please note that seasonal rates may apply to your booking. The advertised nightly rate is based on a party of 2 guests. If there are more than 2 guests, a surcharge of $25 per guest per night will be added. Additionally, PSHS charges a one-time booking fee of $35 for all reservations. Please be aware that there may be additional third-party booking fees depending on the website you choose to book through.

FAQs:

What do I need to do to confirm my booking?

To confirm the booking, we kindly request that all adult guests provide a copy of their driver's licenses and submit a booking deposit. Once we receive all the required documents and deposit, the booking will be confirmed.

Do I need to pay a bond? Yes, a security deposit (bond) will be required on booking of $500. Keys will not be issued unless credit card details have been provided as a surety procedure. Management reserves the right to increase the bond to $1000 in some instances.


If the government orders a lockdown during my scheduled travel dates, what will happen to the payments I made for my booking?

If the government imposes a lockdown during your scheduled travel dates, we will provide two options: a full refund (excluding the booking fee) or the opportunity to reschedule your booking. Please note that rescheduling may come with an additional fee. We will discuss these options with you should the need arise.

If I choose to cancel my booking due to concerns about recent COVID-19 outbreaks, what would be the outcome?

If you choose to cancel your booking, the standard terms and conditions will be applicable. You can access our terms and conditions by visiting www.portlandseaview.com.au and selecting the 'Rent' tab.

What will occur if the owner decides to cancel my reservation?

We understand that owner cancellations can be unsettling, but please be aware that properties are individually owned and may need to be canceled due to repairs, modifications, or to protect the well-being of the community.

In the event that we cancel the booking, you will receive a full refund excluding the booking fee.

    Perfect family holiday if you want to just chill & take in serenity & beauty of Cape Bridgewater. Views from all the front windows out across the ocean & landscape.
    The house was well presented with everything you need in the cupboards.
    Probably not suited to someone with knee or back issues due to the many stairs between levels otherwise one can get a good workout, but worth it.
