Salty Shack is located on the desirable Dutton Way coastline in Allestree, approximately a 5 minute drive to Portland's CBD offering the best of both worlds...secluded beach get away, with close access to town.

On the ground floor of this two storey beach shack you will find an open lounge, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and bathroom. Upstairs the are two open bedrooms with a queen in the main and tri-bunks in the other and balcony with ocean views. Outside you can relax on the deck and enjoy a BBQ or have a short stroll to the beach from the private track.

Approximately 8km from the CBD of Portland and 1.9km from Wally's Boat Ramp this affordable accommodation is perfect for a small family or fisherman given there is ample room for boat parking.


*Seasonal rates apply. Advertised nightly rate is for 4 guests. A guest surcharge of $25 per guest per night above 4 guests applies. All bookings have a one off $35 booking fee applied by PSHS. Additional third party booking fees may apply depending on the website you are booking through.

FAQs:

What do i need to do to confirm my booking?

We require a copy of driver's license's of all adult guests and booking deposit. Only once all of this has been received, will booking be confirmed.

Do i need to pay a bond?

No, but a Guest Registration Form(as a link in your pending reservation email) must be completed and returned to our office prior to arrival. Keys will not be issued inless credit card details have been provided as a surety procedure.

What happens to my booking payments in the event the government directs a lockdown on my dates of travel?

In the event government directs a lockdown for your dates of travel we would discuss either a full refund minus the booking fee or the option of changing your booking dates. Changing of booking dates may incur an additional fee.

What happens if the Government restrictions affect my booking because the guests reside in different addresses, and I decide to no longer take my booking as not all the guests can come along?

Normal terms and conditions would apply if you decided to cancel the booking.

What happens if the property cancels my booking?

Cancellations can occur by owners of properties, and we understand that this can be unsettling, please just be aware properties are individually owned and they may be cancelled due to repairs, modifications or protect the wellbeing of the community.

If the booking is cancelled by us, you would be eligible for a full refund minus the booking fee.
